Breathe opens a new flexible-working hub in Leeds City Centre.
In response to a rapidly expanding portfolio and growing number of employees, Breathe has taken office space in Leeds City Centre. This new office, in addition to those in London and Manchester, will allow colleagues the opportunity to work flexibly with a mixture of in person collaboration and remote working.
The fully-accessible space is importantly well served by public transport so Breathe can encourage the use of lower carbon forms of travel.
Breathe’s Managing Director, Jon Kershaw, opened the offices with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 2 March 2022, with both local – and not so local – colleagues joining to celebrate. After almost two years of remote working, Breathe is promoting a flexible return to the office.
“Opening our new Leeds office demonstrates the growth Breathe has achieved in the last two years and I’m delighted we now have a fantastic venue that colleagues in Yorkshire and the North East can use as an alternative to the home office. Effective collaboration is key for Breathe so it is important we can offer all of our team flexibility in work locations to help them balance work and home life whilst supporting effective delivery and fostering innovation.”
Leeds was chosen as the preferred location through a consultation with colleagues at all levels of the business. In addition to supporting staff wellbeing through this additional flexible working space, the new office is continuing Breathe’s commitment to support the local economy and create jobs around our projects.
