Spotlight: Adonis Nugent, Apprentice Site Manager

We are delighted to announce Adonis Nugent has become Breathe’s first Apprentice Site Manager. He has been working with Breathe since January 2020 on our Epsom Hospital project where Adonis quickly proved himself to be a valuable addition to the team.

Adonis has built good relationships with the client and subcontractors, helping to successfully deliver two projects despite the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This experience and his willingness to learn led to him being offered a role as Breathe’s first ever Apprentice Site Manager. For his apprenticeship Adonis will be complementing his on-the-job training with a Building Services Design Technical Level 3 course at a local college.

Adonis’ day never looks quite the same as another – whether he’s dealing clients, delivering “toolbox talks” for contractors or shadowing the Project Manager, there’s always lots to learn and do around site.

“I’m thrilled to be here working with Breathe and believe it’s been going exceptionally well.  The whole Breathe team feels like a family, I’ve fit into my new role like a glove, and I have my amazing teachers here at Breathe to thank for that.”

Tim Goodson, Breathe Operations Director said, “If he continues to put as much effort and enthusiasm into this next stage of his career as we’ve seen up to now, he’ll be a great success.”
